{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: National Park warning - closed

All the parking on the Clara Barton is blocked off. Wanted to fish the Potomac this morn and found out the hard way. I was able to find parking on the VA side of Chain Bridge. The bucket brigade was out in force, obviously aware that no one will be enforcing out there anytime soon

Hey guys,

Just a heads up – due to our nations congressional refusal to do the work of the people, it looks like your favorite National Parks fishing areas are closed.

Barriers are up along the Tidal Basin in SW near my apt, and as of 9:30am, there were cones closing the Duck Pond parking and the Gravelly Point parking areas.

Just a heads up if you plan on making a long distance trip to a park, please call the park office and find out if it's even open.
