Sorry for your misadventure Mark. Almost sounds like an episode of 'This Happened To Me' in Outdoor Life magazine. I feel for ya. I've lost gear that had significant sentimental value and it still hurts to dwell on it. Glad you are okay. That's the main thing. I try to think of the possibility that larger calamities may be averted as a result of smaller misfortunes.
