Most of my luck as been at the back of the Occoquan. I have caught all of my snakehead on streamers. The last one was on a clowser's minnow.
After the fish have spawned and the young snakehead hatch the parents will guard the fry. If you see this happening I have been told that if you throw a fly into the middle of the fry the parents will attack the fly.
