Sine I live on the North Shore...
Dude, it's Rock Port, just like it sounds. There is ocean and fish and rocks everywhere. There are cliffs and micro-beaches for 15 miles around so don't bother with waders unless you want to drive someplace. Wear serious hiking boots and/or jetty cleats. You will need a stripping basket: fishing cliffs without one is dangerous. Bring dark flies, when the water is all churned up against the cliffs the dark fly stands out. A local favorite is a black and purple deceiver, just keep it as our little secret. Typical striper fare works: deceivers, poppers, clousers, etc. Just bring extras. Clousers in particular lose their paint very quickly getting bashed on the rocks, and fish will break you off on the rocks. Use a 20# tippet. Use a 10-weight or 11-weight if you have one. If you have a car, just drive up and down the coast on 127 and fish anywhere you have parking and access. There are some parks in the area that you can find with Google. Fish cliffs on a rising tide.
July 1st is an awesome time to be on the North Shore. If you're around for a week or so, I can help in the hunt or with gear although I just moved here so I don't know all the places and times yet. I also have a car and enough flies and tying stuff to open up a small flyshop. 703.855.0890.
Nearest flyshop is First Light Anglers in Rowley or Orvis in Danvers/Peabody at the North Shore Mall. Neither of these are close, so avoid trips if you can.
