Re: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Lake Needwood Largie

gurgler's are ok, but I've had better luck with stealth bombers recently.  The only problem is keeping the bluegill off.

This healthy largemouth was my only hookup for today at Lake Needwood in MD.  It propelled itself out of the water multiple times as it attempted to throw the hook.  Tons of tiny bluegill in there as well.

There was another angler hooking up every few casts on spinning gear and with what seemed to be a popper with a bucktail teaser trailing behind it.

Anybody have any top water fly suggestions for targeting bass in still water?
The gurgler?
