Fish the outflow by the light house on folly beach. I haven’t fly fished it but grew up fishing spin fishing the area. You’ll be surprised what all you can catch. We use to catch small sharks on swim baits. You can access it by walking north along the beach. There will be an outflow with a large sandbar and the light house in the middle. It’s about a 15 to 20 min walk from the last parking area on folly. Fish from shore. There are tremendous rip tides in that area and the mouth of the outflow has steep drop offs about two foot out from shore.
Also fly fishing for Reds in the rivers is usually pretty consistent. There are a growing number of fly fishing guides in the area.

Subject: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Folly Beach, SC
I'm headed to Folly Beach, SC in July (7 - 12) for family vacation. I was hoping to get some fly fishing in at least one of those days. Has anyone fished down there before? Any tips for spots to check out and/or guide recommendations?
Best,
Todd
