Mossy is a great summer stream once the hoppers start coming out. Its probably a little far from there. But if you make it over near Hot Springs. There is a weeks worth of fishing and you never have to see the same section of a river twice.

I will have to call the local flyshops to see if the waters are blown out but if they are not, any suggestions? The South River runs near it in Waynesboro but I know nothing about it. I noticed Mossy Creek is not too far away but I think I will save that one for another trip. Any other ideas would be appreciated. Got to admit that I feel a little uneasy trying new water on my own but I don't think a guide is in the budget.
