not sure how far the Elk is from you. But in my opinion its far more worth your drive. Its a lime stone river. Sulfers were coming off by the hundreds lately. Call the little shop down there around Monterville. Their head guide/only guide will give u 2 or 3 patterns that you will catch them on. Good luck.
