--So, I was out yesterday at 4MR at 9:30 AM (right before peak of high tide) just south of the Toyota dealerships on the Airport side and had fish breaching repeatedly for about 2 hours. Not sure what type of fish they were (one guy thought they were Shad while another thought they were carp. I dont know for sure but I don't believe they are carp, couple fully surfaced and it was not the right shape) but no matter what I threw at them, they would not bite. We tried small poppers, large walts poppers, clousers, wooly buggers along with other random dry flies but nothing other than a couple sunfish. I moved down stream closer to the water outtake and the breaching stopped. Anyone else see this and have any luck?
