Skunked. Walked the towpath and fished the canal from Pennyfield Lock up to Blockhouse Point (halfway to Violettes Lock) Murky water in canal.  Just downstream of the gas pipeline right-of-way, I spotted a 20 inch or so length snakehead. I'd heard Channa argus were in there, but this is first time I've seen one in the canal.
