Thanks to Daniel for posting the link that I keep forgetting to include in the reports. Mike Bailey will probably stop talking to me. Nice as this map is, there's no substitute for going down to the river and observing where people fish. Gordon's Rock is where the trail from Fletcher's first meets the river. You will probably find shad anglers there to talk to and learn from. I love that a certain rock was named after such a great person as Gordon Leisch. Ironically, it is a rock that was placed there in the 60's when the fill area and structured shoreline were constructed—the very project that caused the heavy cove sedimentation threatening Fletcher's Cove. We at FFC love Gordon but his rock needs to be removed along with the rest of the made land.
