{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Rehoboth part II

Well done!

I have been using either GoPro's apps (Splice and Quick) for editing or using iMovie. I actually find it is easier to edit on my phone than on my laptop. I just got an iPad and really like that. I haven't done anything flashy just clipping excess footage and putting multiple shots together. I then created a YouTube channel to host it all. Here is one from the Shad run: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFsZY3cNPuI

Had to go back to Rehoboth this past weekend.  Lots of blue fish in the surf.  Decided to throw a lure and had a rockfish chase it close the rocks I was fishing from.

Quickly grabbed my fly rod and started casting into the wash.  I started with long casts out into the surf but realized that the ROCKfish hangout near the rocks.  Roll casting by the jetty, essentially using nymphing technique got me two out of the surf.

Below is a picture.

Got another 17in rockfish out of Rehoboth Bay before sunrise.

All in all a quick trip w. 3 nice sized stripers.

I broke the curse of the GoPro and have video of the cast/catch on this guy.  Still trying to figure out how to edit and post it.
