What if they aren’t abundant, but still there in smaller numbers?

The fishing spot map shows a place called "Snakehead Pond" next to Bumpy Oak Road and the Indian Head Rail Trail. Has anyone been out there recently? Are the snakeheads still abundant or have they been cleared out by a hoard of bow fishermen? I'm considering heading up there, but it's a bit of a drive (2-3 hours round trip) to find out that location is a bust.
