{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Rose river tips....also can you wet wade

You can wade or cast from shore. You'll be fine wet wading, although I'd prob wear hip waders. Don't overthink RRF - it's literally the easiest place to catch a trout I've ever seen. It was the first place I ever fly fished for trout, and I landed over 30. In terms of places for Saturday, I'd suggest a spring creek or tailwater, although I don't know of any close to RRF. There are probably still some stockers in the rose, robinson, and hughes. Perhaps try the lower Hughes for stockers, then head up nicholson hollow for brookies. Use dries and/or hopper droppers.

Curious if waders are necessary this time of year?  Could you wet wade?
