Next week I'm heading up to Old Saybrook, CT where the Connecticut River flows into the Long Island Sound. I have never been there before, so naturally I am consuming all fishing information I can find: fishing reports, NOAA depth charts, local shops and guides, etc. But the internet is a big and impersonal place and I would greatly appreciate any personal advice or recommendations anyone on this board may have.
