Not sure where you are planning to fish, but I fished it several years ago right where it flows out of Yellowstone national park. It was ok. Caught some decent cuts but more whitefish than trout. I hiked in and it is beautiful, just thought there was much better fishing in other areas of the park.

Hey all,Has anybody spent any time on the upper part of the Snake R in Wyoming above Jackson Lake? Feeling out plans to hike and fish to the headwaters this summer as a part of a life-long goal to traverse/float the entire river. Since boats are not allowed up that far I'd be backpacking. If anybody has contacts in the area or experience I'm looking for information.Hope everybody is breaking out the rods for spring - coming in hot! Thanks! Will
