At this point we have seen enough pictures of shad so no fish porn today, they are there in numbers, if I give you a number, you wouldn't believe me. Let's say in 5 hrs of fishing I had only a handful of casts without a hookup. Use those sink tip shooting heads, quarter down , and strip. Got a few nice Americans and some very bid hickories. The Potomac is an amazing place. Go get em.
