Keith,

If you want a good two handed rod, not a smaller switch, I would look at a  12'6' 6 wt  or 13' 7wt. You can use it for a lot of different situations for smallies  shad, stripers, to steelhead. Lots of rod options, I would look at Orvis, Echo, Redington and TFO.
