{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Hazel River/North Fork Thornton River or others around Sperryville

I've had good luck on the Hazel.  The parking is limited with only room for about 2 cars.  It's also kind of hard to figure out where to park on your first visit.  However, I think the limited parking leads to less fishing pressure than some of the other rivers in the area.  I've never fished the N. Fork of the Thornton.

Hey Folks,

Long time lurker first time poster. I am going to a wedding party in Sperryville, VA and was planning on getting up early and hitting the Hazel or the N Fork of the Thornton. Any tips or advice for fishing on either of these two rivers? Are there any other spots worth considering?

Thanks,
Nick
