{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Trip to west branch of Ausable

I am heading north to my old stomping grounds of over 30 yrs ago, in upstate N.Y. For a week - ten days of exploring and fishing. It holds a special place in my heart, grew up just south of the park and spent every summer up there. Going to camp at Wilmington Notch campground and fish the Ausable, and bringing my kayak to fish some of the numerous ponds. Looking forward to the lack of traffic, people, and general buzz of a major metropolitan area. Once I get north of Albany it's like another world, the further you go the smells, sounds , and spectacular views of the Aderondacks take me back to my youth. End of the trip I am going over to the Spey Nation event on the Salmon river and take in as much as I can on 2 handed fishing. Hopefully I'll have some good pictures and stories to post a trip report when I get back.
