I use furled leaders just because I'm used to them (and like them more than tapered leaders). I've used Blue Sky but now use Cutthroat. Neither of those have ever untangled (unfurled) on me, even if the end loops broke (which they have).
-- I have seen other methods for using three separate pieces of mono, furling them together to get a furled leader - never a single... I'm going to make a up few of these now (but won't be able to fish them until the weekend). I'll let you know how they work in comparison to the ready made ones.
Thanks for the link!!!

I ran across this video on youtube the other day. I have never seen this before, but I gave it a shot and it works great. Has anyone every had these guys unravel during fishing? Seems like an easy and cheap way to build some leaders during the "thunder snow". I was pretty surprised how well it worked.
