{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Vermont Fly Rodding

Just got back from a week in my hometown in Vermont.  Caught a nice 12" rainbow in the Mad River (alas, no photo), and also a 14" largemouth in Blueberry Lake in Warren.  My oldest son also caught his first fish on a fly rod, and it also happened to be his first bass!  Unfortunately, the rains came fast and furious for the remainder of the week, swelling the river, washing out roads and even forcing us to evacuate our hotel in the middle of the night.  Needless to say, we weren't able to do much fishing after that!
