I remember Panguitch, UT. In September 1975 and college friend and I were traveling the American West.  After leaving Bryce Canyon we stopped for gas in Panquitch and our reception at a gas station/cafe was decidedly unfriendly. Must have been our long hair and beards. ;-) If I had the fishing jones back then, I wouldn't have come back east.
