I brought 2 8 wts, 1 9 wt, and 10 wt. I would advise against heading to off the beaten track locations without a back up rod. There is no way to replace it if you end up snapping it for some reason. I landed the permit on the H2 10wt but fished for bones with an H2 8wt. Both are very sweet rods in my opinion.

We went looking for snook in the afternoon for the super slam, but I stripped the fly away from the lone snook that we encountered.Looking forward to the shad and the stripers in the very near future.
