I was out with Aaron yesterday as well. Hooked into lots of
aggressive "frenzied" bluegill.
Aaron, I ended up where we first linked up and managed to see 2 fish
rise up very close to me. They swam slowly and did not seem phased by
my presence at all. One swam just below where I was standing and
continuously came up for air. They had sucker like mouths.
I'm guessing suckerfish since they did were a dark hue and not bright,
golden, nor too keen like a carp?
I also spotted these under the bridge as I biked back. They were a
little larger than a football.
