Tails are a bit too long on my initial efforts to tie shad flies... I think, will trim them down some. I need to buy some chanelle and ostrich plums to better tie a bunch of snowhite damsels and darts,puffs...
I've never fished for shad, looking forward to it.
Apparently size 6 hooks are prefered. Size 4 and even 10 were mentioned. Should I continue using 6s alone?
