Hi folks,
-- I'm relatively new to the area - grew up in the north fly fishing the West Branch of the Delaware and Beaverkill river for trout. While I am excited to give the Potomac and other local warm water tributaries a shot, I'd really love to be able to find some trout water in the area. The catch: I don't have a car. From everything that I've read, it looks like most trout streams are an hour plus either north or west of DC. I've read some posts on Holmes Run and other local spots that I would be able to metro / cab on over to, but I would really appreciate any input on these streams & any other possible local options. Thanks!
