Re: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Montana Guide Recommendations

Thanks Rich, I appreciate you reaching out to your friend and passing along the info.  We'll be heading the wrong direction, but may reach out nonetheless.  I figured weather could be an issue, but I guess we'll see how it goes.

Josh,

Have a friend in Troy that I've floated with a few times.  Great guide.  He's about 2 hours west of where you'll be.  His direct quotes:

"Weather will be the dicey element. If he's coming west two hours from K-spell, I can offer some pointers. Northfork has an ample supply of WS cutties, which aren't all that big but generally eager to take a fly. Middle fork is super accessible from hwy 2. Access will be easy; it just remains to be seen what the weather does. Last couple of years we've had torrential rains in Oct/November that blew everything out royally. A few degrees colder, and it would have all been snow. Time will tell."

Subject: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Montana Guide Recommendations

Long time lurker, first time poster. I plan to be in the Kalispell/Glacier NP area for a couple of days in early November and am seeking any guide recommendations for the Middle/North Forks of the Flathead.  Would also like to do a day of self-guided roadside fishing if anyone has thoughts or experience in the area.

I did search, but apologies in advance if this question has been answered previously.

Thanks for any input.

Josh
