Hello,
I'm curious to know if anybody could lead me in the direction of where I could store a small boat on a trailer in the DC area. My wife and I live in Pentagon City and I was just going to store it in the garage for $150 a month, but management says no recreational vehicles allowed. As a property manager myself, I'm perplexed of the decision seeing as there are plenty of parking spaces and I even offered to store it somewhere else if a person with a car or motorcycle needed it at a later date, but no go. I've called all of the local storage places with little to no luck. One outdoor parking spot in town, but outside and in the elements, prime picking. I'm willing to drive a bit and truthfully if I had an indoor storage space I could store my fishing gear there as well. Currently I have one rod and reel combo here, but I found a friend willing to bring my boat up and I'd like for him to bring my gear as well. Living in a one bedroom place with my wife and dog it's comfortable, but the addition of the gear would make it tight. Any leads would be greatly appreciated. The boat is a 14'4" SOLO skiff on a trailer. Overall length with trailer is unknown exactly but I'm guessing less than 18'
Thanks and looking forward to meeting you all at Beer Tie!
Dougy
