Our friend's at NCC-TU are again putting on the National Capital Angling Show on this Sunday, March 9th, at Georgetown Preparatory School in North Bethesda, from 10:00AM to 5:30PM. For those of you that haven't been, there will be a large collection of vendors, guides and non-profits with tables, some experts giving paid casting classes, presentations on destinations and general fishing information, as well as some pretty sweet raffles and auctions. One of the highlights will be a presentation by Kelly Galloup, famed guide and streamer extraordinaire, on streamer fishing for trophy trout--I saw him give this last year and it was one of the most engaging fly fishing talks I've witnessed. See the complete program here.
-- TPFR will be in attendance with a table in the gymnasium, and our very own Trent Jones and Casey Peltier will be giving presentations on fishing the Tidal Potomac and Southwestern Montana, respectively; and Dan Davala and Andy Manley are involved with a couple of the casting classes. The cost to enter is $15, and you can find directions here.
Hope to see you there,
Dalton
