A RIO MOW "light" 12.5' T-8 sink tip should be perfect for the 375 Skagit. I don't sell these tips, so I can't be lying. Pretty sure Richie carries them though. The Orvis switch line is more of a Scandi style line with a longer, skinnier front taper, so it tosses poly leaders well but doesn't really like the heavier tips as you have found. Definitely your Skagit head with the above mentioned tip should work perfect for the Shad.

I have misplaced the length of T-whatever that Dan hooked me up with at some point. I don't remember how long it was or what the grain weight was, but I need a replacement before the shad hit.--The rod is an Orvis 6wt Helios switch and the lines are a 375gr Rio Skagit Flight and Orvis Hydros 3D Switch 6. Whatever Dan had previously given me was a bit heavy for these lines and hinged a good bit.Can anyone recommend a sink tip that will be appropriate for one or both lines for shad around Fletcher's? I'd like to have one for each line so I can get down to the shad from a boat and from shore, skagit cast of OH/TH cast.I'm looking at you, Dan and John.
