+1 for Harry Murray.  In addition to the fishing reports and podcasts, he is responsive to emails if you have more pointed questions about specific areas.

Lastly, he has a great selection of flies on his site for both smallies and trout in the Shenandoah.

I'd highly recommend checking out the website for harry murray's fly shop.  He does river reports at least every week, will tell you what the smallmouth are biting.  His podcast is great too.
