From a friend:
"We were closer to Burnsville, NC, which was about 30-45 mins from Asheville. We used an outfitter in Spruce Pine, NC, called Rivers Edge Outfitters.
The guide's name, who I thought was very good, was Cade--he took us to some public fishing rivers and they also had some private waters that we fished, too."

I'm going to be in Asheville in mid April. Has anyone worked with a guide there they would recommend and is there a specific body of water I should focus on? Floating on larger water would be my preference.--
