{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} NB Potomac Report

The North Branch served up some hot action Friday and Saturday. There were four in our party and everyone caught trout, one a fat rainbow over 20 in. As of Saturday, the cable marking the catch and release section at the campground is now treacherously dangling below the water surface; the large tree to which it was anchored on the opposite bank (Maryland side) fell while we were there and also stretches across the river. Lucky no anglers were wading there (there usually are).

Even the new guy in our group picked up three fish after a 30 minute casting lesson. Good times.
