I have not spotted one while on the hoof at the Duck Pond. Are you wading over to the left/SE from the parking lot? Man, I wish I had a place to store my kayak up here. It is just gathering dust in my parent's barn these days.

Eric,I had decent luck at Duck Pond last Saturday. Decent luck being two blow ups, one hooked fish (which dug into the hydrilla and got off), and one curious specimen that swam 15 feet out of the pads to check me out. In my experience, wading for snakeheads is tough to do with a spinning rod and even tougher to accomlpishon a fly rod. They're an incredibly aware fish that requires long, accurate casts. Wading more often than not ends the game before it ever begins. That's just my two cents though.Tight lines,Remick
