Hey, All -
I just wanted to share a great read written by a guy who followed the the fall striper run for three months from the coast of Maine to North Carolina. I grew up surf fishing on Long Island, and damn if this book didn't make me itch to be back in the Northeast. That said, I picked up the fly rod a few years ago, and although my casting stinks, I did hit Gravelly Point yesterday, still looking for that first striper on the fly. Unfortunately, I had the incoming tide and got skunked, but I'll get out there again! Anyway, if you fancy yourself a striper guy (or gal) check it out.
