I was hoping some of you all could help I.D. a fish I snagged down in Waynesboro this past weekend, South River just south of the bridge in town.

Here's a smaller one of what I think is the same species:

Still pretty new to fly fishing, caught more sunfish/bluegill than I can count. 1 smallmouth and whatever that ^ thing is. No trout yet.

I don't know where to begin to search or keywords to search against, besides sorting through the VGIF species list (which I didnt find any to look like this guy).
