Spent the past two days out on 4MR
Some things to note:
- Arlington county now has someone patrolling the 4MR trail and checking for licenses
- The trees and brush along the Arlington side have been trimmed from S. Eads st to the outflow. This has opened up a lot of space to back cast. It also put a lot of great structure in the water. You can now sneak up from the shore and cast over them
- Some big sucker/carp type of fish were in there today. I'll generously say they were 2' long. If I was in Florida I'd say they were bonnet heads. They came right up to me today and were spooked and took off
- There was a guy on the Frank Mann Field section wearing a Fukushima looking haz mat suit with a hard hat today. He was picking up litter along the shore. Kudos to him.
