With the coming spring, I've begun assembling and tying flies for two of our local waterways. I searched the forum for effective fly patterns in 4MR and Holmes run. You will find in the list below all of the successful patterns described in the forums. I know there are thousands of fly patterns and just as many ways to fish them, not to mention numerous other flies that are effective in these waterways. This is simply a collection of what's been described in forum posts. I did my best to include each fly as it was described verbatim.
