{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Current River, MO report

Hey, I realize this is out of state but it's a pretty well-known trout stream here in the midwest so I thought I'd post it.  We fished it for about 9 hours every day during the last 3 days and (thankfully) were able to retreat to a cabin with a fireplace versus a tent.  It was sleeting/snowing and between 27-35 most of the time we were out there, which made tying on flies/leaders difficult.

The Current is known as a slightly difficult stream to fish according to the Ozark Anglers group, but I managed several rainbows on brassies, PT nymphs, and the most awesome - my soft hackles!  Catching trout on a soft hackle is probably my favorite type of fishing I've done for those guys.
