Not sure what the price range is, but the Greenbrier (WV - about 4 hrs) and the Homestead (VA - about 3 hours) both have private water (I believe), plus are close to other popular rivers. But both are also pretty pricey. Really, there are tons of Bed & Breakfasts just about anywhere out towards the west of the state near plenty of the big name rivers.
You have tons of options for a weekend trip. There's several famous rivers near Deep Creek Lake (Yough, Casselman, Savage). There's basically anything in the Blue Ridge mountains of VA. Another option for next month (depending on timing) would be fishing up at the Susquehanna Flats for stripers, but you'd probably need a boat of some sort.
