Re: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Potomac River Water Level

I always use this chart for tides and compensate whether I am upstream or down:  http://tidesandcurrents.noaa.gov/noaatidepredictions/NOAATidesFacade.jsp?Stationid=8594900

Print or save the "Annual PDF" and keep it handy for trip planning.  No tide station for the Dagobah system unfortunately.

Forgive me for being clueless, but my head swims with data when I look at these website. How can I determine when the tide is low near Fletcher's Boathouse so I can wade and fish for shad? Help me, Obi-Dan Davala, you are my only hope...

Sorry if this is already well known, but is there a website that keeps track of the water level in the Potomac River, especially further up river near say Blockhouse Point Park?

Would also like to see historical averages by month.

Thanks for the help!
