I just wanted to share my first efforts at tying shad flies.  Dan gave me some left over chenille and bead chain, (first hit is free); and Rob gave me some craft supplies from Michaels.  I got the basic recipes for these flies from them too.  I expect to catch my share of rocks and my first shad very soon; thanks guys.
