I did a work trip to big sky last summer and it was fantastic. I fished one day with a guide from Blue Ribbon Flies who are down in west yellowstone. if you have a car i would recommend driving down there. lots of options. i fished the madison and it was easier water for me. i also took a day and drove around yellowstone and had a blast.
-- west yellowstone is a cool town and it was an easy drive from big sky.
