Personally speaking I wouldn't do any camping until September or October – just too darn hot.

Check out Seneca Shadows campground. It is only a few minutes from Seneca Creek, which may be too warm to fish in August, but all of its tributaries are loaded with brook trout and some also have strong wild rainbow populations. The tributaries don't see a ton of pressure because they are small and can be brushy in some sections, but overall they aren't too bad. Fish will aggressively take dry flies all day long. Horsecamp Run, Strader Run, and Whites Run are most accessible.

 

I suspect Smoke Hole will be too warm at this time of year.
