{Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} Re: Donating gear to local charity

So very sorry for your loss.  Thank you for carrying on his thoughtful wishes and leaving a lasting tribute to his memory.

Project Healing Waters is such a charity.

Bob Gartner is with the Fort Belvoir chapter;
I know there is also a Walter Reed chapter.
And a chapter associated with DC Veterans' Affairs.  Bobby Davis, one of their POCs monitors this board.

I'm not sure if I can post their email addresses or contact info on this board.  But I will email both Bob and Bobby about this message.

Warmest regards,

Hello,

I'm posting this message using my husband's email. He was a member of your group. Unfortunately Bryan passed away at the end of June after a short but brutal battle with cancer.

He left some fly fishing gear behind. And before he died he expressed his desire to have his stuff donated to a charity that helps veterans get on the water and do some fishing. He instructed me to post here to get advice about charities and contact info.

I would appreciate it if someone on this loop could send me in the right direction.

Many thanks

Robin Lanier
