Is there any evidence out there to prove that fish fin cannibalism is a symptom of hatchery life? I was under that impression until my lovely girlfriend brought this unfortunate looking rainbow to the net on the Mighty 'Mo in Montana last summer. As many of you probably know, Montana stopped stocking its rivers in 1974 so there is a slim-to-none chance that this fish has ever been in any sort of enclosure with other fish.

It looks like it is going to be pretty nice this weekend and I am itching to get out and fish. Does anyone have any ideas within an hour or so of DC? I don't think I'll have all day, but I would like to get out for a couple of hours during the warmth of the day on either Saturday or Sunday. Thanks in advance for the help!Josh
