I was out on Four Mile Run over the weekend and saw they cut back all the cover on the side by the outflow. That area was my go-to for finding nice bass and sunfish and even a snakehead recently. The water pools nicely there. I didn't have by luck fishing that side with the cover gone, so I switched to the other side and hooked up with some reasonable largemouth.
Does anyone know why they cut the cover back? Also, do you think that ruins the spot for anglers? On the positive side, there is more ability to back cast from shore.
