Beer Tie is coming up this Monday, November 14 at Whitlow's on Wilson in the Sandbar. Doors open at 6PM and they'll move you to front of the house at 10PM. As always, burgers are half priced and we'll have our own beer special after happy hour ends. If you aren't familiar with these events, they are very informal and you are free to come and go as you please. Bring a vise and material if you want to tie, or just hang out and drink a few sodas.--
Rob Snowhite will be teaching at the beginners table from 7-9PM. We'll have all materials and vises for people that want to join in.
We will be hosting a special guest, Stephen Sautner, who has recently released the book Fish On, Fish Off. You may have seen his stories in the New York Times over the years, but he is an urban angler similar to many of us just a couple hundred miles North. Stephen will tell some brief fishing stories and give information about himself, and will have his books on hand to sell.
