Subject: {Tidal Potomac Fly Rodders} 25 flies a day for 25 days
Just finished the 25 a day fly tying challenge to bring awareness to the 22 vets each day that commit suicide. All flies are headed to project healing waters to be used in their programs.

I run my Brittany on a Garmin Delta Sport. Works great, never had a problem
with it.

You could get a tracking collar so you can find him later. :)
Yes they can outgrow this type of thing, but not always. I don't have a
hunting dog, but by 4, my dog was able to not chase deer too far.
1) you have to be consistent in your training, having a household pet that
you get rambutious with and an excellent hunting dog are, while not
mutually exclusive, very hard to accomplish and you are dealing with a
compromise. Just accept some of that.
2) Part of the deer issue is you being attuned to his signals and getting
his attention before it is completely zoned in on the deer. It's also
training the dog handler.

That's not supposed to happen until the baby arrives.

Hi all,
First time poster and new to the group (and fly fishing) but have enjoyed
all the updates and reports so far!
I was thinking of doing a float down the Upper Potomac on Sunday from Dam 4
to Shepardstown. I have a few questions I hope some people can answer:
1) How long does the float down the river take approximately?
2) How is the fishing?
3) What are the best fly patterns this time of year? I've had success with
bass poppers down near Harpers Ferry.
4) Any other recommendations?
Thanks!
Michael

bump** Misha- have you floated any tailwaters like NB Potomac in your
FoldCat? I'm considering purchasing one for ease of storage but have never
seen one on moving water. How would you rate it?
